   We have lots of shrubs and perennials that will make beautiful flowers through the spring, fall and summer that I’m selling for $6.97 each while they last. Before you go any further grab a red or blue pen and circle the things you are interested in. I know $6.97 for a shrub or perennial sounds kind of crazy but that is what I do.

This is a partial list of what you can get for $6.97 each. Plants like Mock Orange with their beautiful white flowers and a wonderful fragrance that calls out to your sense of smell. The Albelia Mosanensis is a flowering shrub you should have somewhere in your landscape and we have a great selection to choose from. Are you looking for a ground cover that flowers, try the Deutzia Nikko with its small white flowers, you’ll love it. How about some Weigela (below picture) like Red Prince, Java Red, Minuet, and a few others with bell shaped flowers and the Hummingbirds love them and to beat it all a couple of these are dwarfs and only $6.97 each.

Oh yes, we have those blooming machines like Potentilla Gold Drop, Potentilla Abbottswood, and Potentilla Pink Beauty. They are small and easy to maintain. We have different kinds of Spirea like Gold Flame, Gold Mound, Neon Flash, and Lemon Princess to provide different colors for your landscape. How about Viburrnums like Burkwoodii, ( a great fragrant provider) Arrowwood, Cranberry Bush, and Summer Snowflake. Come out this week and take a deep breath next to my Burkwoodii Viburnum. You’ll want to bottle some of that air and take it home with you.

We have Quince Cameo and Crimson Gold. These early spring bloomers really brighten up the landscape after a cold winter and they are very hardy. We have Kumson Forsythia with its early bloom and variegated leaf and yellow blooms. Oh yes, I almost forgot about our Red Magic Daylillies.

The Lilacs are looking great and ready to be planted and only $6.97. We have two kinds of Honeysuckle, Hosta’s, Magnolia Ann, Ninebark Nugget, Ninebark Royalty, Scotchbroom, Barberry and more.

I see we have two kinds of Red twig Dogwood, Yellow twig Dogwood and how could I miss those Hypericum Sunbursts? Trust me, you want a Sunburst in your Landscape.

 

I’ve got to start winding this down but I can’t forget about the Salix Hakuro Nishiki. This shrub is  amazing and with very little care provides a beautiful whispy, colorful shrub. I’m sure I’m missing some other wonderful plants but I just can’t think of them now. Oh yes, a spark went off in this brain of mine and one of the most beautiful spring blooming plants you could have is the Spirea Bridal Wreath. Google this plant and come on over and pick up one, two, or even create a hedge with it. Next Spring you’ll be glad you did.

Okay, I have some plants that are either larger or more costly to grow that are priced at or near wholesale pricing. Here are some I’m talking about. We have lots of Azalea probably six or seven kinds in bloom now. We have about 12 kinds of Rhododendrons including some dwarf kinds. I don’t space to name them, but you can find at least one place in your landscape for a Rhododendron and priced at $19.97 each, they are a steal!!  Take a look at the picture and you’ll find a spot for one, two or more. Okay, a few of you will know what I’m talking about. You have a neighbor that is driving you crazy and you don’t know what to do? I suggest a hedge of Emerald Green Arborvitae that will give you the privacy you deserve and even some shade! Ours are about 3’+ high and growing. Plant these 3’-4’ apart and in no time you have your privacy.

We have Golden Curl Willows being used in landscapes and large pots. Other larger plants we have include Linesville Arborvitae, Golden Globe Arborvitae, Old Gold Juniper, Saybrook Gold Juniper, Sea Green Juniper and others to make your landscape beautiful and affordable.

  IS EVERYONE READY FOR SOME SPRING WEATHER? I know I am!  Kathy and I got a taste of summer the beginning of March by going on our dream vacation to Aruba! We have dreamed of this for many years and to celebrate our 50^th Wedding anniversary on March 2^nd. (Yup, I remembered the date), we were off to Aruba to fulfill that dream. We sure could use some of that warm weather to make the plants grow faster. By the way, if you would like to hear more about the trip and how we met, just come on over and ask. Kathy has put up with many crazy ideas I had over the years but she thinks the craziest and best was the idea I could make shrubs, perennials, and some small trees more affordable for average people like you and I. Yes we’ve done it and we continue to do it again and again and now is your time to save some money and have a beautiful landscape.  Now I’m going to quickly give a rundown of many of the plants we have available.

Let’s start off with one of my favorites, Lilacs. We have Old Fashion, Miss Kim, Betsy Ross, and Declaration and only $6.97 each. We have a good supply of Weigela’s available including Kathy’s favorite Red Prince with those beautiful red bell shaped flowers and we have Tango, Java Red, Florida Variegated, Carnival, and Minuet. In a few weeks they will be blooming like crazy! Hummingbirds love these!!!

One of the shrubs I like is Spirea, I love them because of the leaf color, and the little colorful flowers they have at the same time. These are easy to maintain and are deer resistant simply because deer can eat them  down to the ground and they will grow out again. I have Gold Flame, Gold Mound, Lemon Princess, Neon Flash and more.

If you love Viburnums we have the fragrant Burkwoodii, Snowflake Viburnum and several others that add to the senses when walking in your landscape. One of the most consistent and best sellers we have is the Salix Hakuro Nishiki. With its beautiful wispy foliage it’s a must have for every ones landscape.

We have Honeysuckle Butterfly that is a great yellow blooming shrub that attracts butterflies and bees. Oh yes the Clethra Humming Bird and Ruby Spice with their late summer white & pink blooms are a great plant for some late summer bloom and beauty. Others that provide that summer and late summer bloom is Callicarpa and we have three different ones to choose from.

Early bloomers include Quince Cameo and Crimson & Gold. Take a look at mine in my landscape when you arrive. Also in the early bloomer class we have Forsythia Lynwood with its yellow blooms and Kumson with its variegated leaf and yellow flowers.

 

Some of my favorite low growing plants are Abelia Mosanensis (pictured above), Deutzia Nikko, Potentilla Abbottswood, Potentilla Gold Drop, Mock Orange. These fly out of here so come early and get what you need.

We have Red & Yellow Twig Dogwood, Burning Bush, Holly’s, Hypericums, Lavendar, Ninebark, Golden Curly Willow, Sedums, Salvia, Lirope, and a whole lot more that will make your landscape perfect for you.

Oh yes, I almost forgot we have Annabelle Hydrangea, Nikko Blue, Parzifal, and more. Oh my, we have a good supply of Blue Rug Juniper for only $6.97 each while they last. A great ground cover and can tolerate dry conditions once established. Come on over and take a look there are a lot more shrubs & perennials for only $6.97 each.

 

I do have other shrubs, perennials and small trees that are more costly to grow but are priced at bargain basement prices and many near wholesale pricing. We have White, Red, and Pink Blooming Dogwoods, Golden Globe Arborvitae, Aronia Chokeberry Brilliantissima, Lionsville Arborvitae, and Emerald Green Arborvitae. Also Gold Coast Juniper, Saybrook Gold Juniper, Sea Green Juniper, and probably a few more I just don’t remember now.

I’m excited about our Azalea and Rhododendrons. We have six different Azalea. Each has their own distinctive color bloom. We have over 12 different kinds of Rhododendrons. We have many different colors you just have to see to appreciate. If you are thinking of planting Rhododendrons come and take a look because we’ll save you a ton of money! There are lots more plants but I’m out of time and space and I’ve got to hustle out to get plants ready for the sale.

The little berries appearing in the fall and the size of this for only $6.97 each makes me believe I am crazy! We have Tango, Variegated, Minuet (dwarf), Red Prince, Weigelas. Plant this stuff now for a beautiful spring bloom! Pick the color you like. I am really desperate for space for new plants we are potting for our Fall Sales and Next Spring Sales.

Oh, I almost forgot. We have Honeysuckle “Butterfly” that is a great NATIVE shrub and has bright yellow flowers that attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees.  We also have Ninebark Nugget and it’s cousin the Royal Ninebark.  The foliage alone is worth it in summer and fall.  The small white flowers are icing on the cake.

Itea Henry Garnet is a fantastic late summer blooming shrub as well as Clethra with both available in limited quantity.

Holy Cow, the brain really kicked in! We have Callacarpa and one of the two kinds is variegated.  Look these up on the internet, they are beautiful.  For beauty and fragrance we have Mock Orange and Albelia and only $5.97 each.  Limited supply, so hurry on over.

Oh yeah, and a few Eastern Redbuds for only $5.97 each as well.

We have Variegated Weigela that gives pretty bell-shaped white and pink flowers. These are a great shrub and are easily trimmed to 30”-36”.  All of these listed above and more for only $5.97 each.

Oh my, almost forgot about Blue Rug Juniper, a great groundcover for Full Sun to Part Shade area. They are $5.97 each. Special pricing if you are purchasing 50 or more!

Oh yes while I think of it – my granddaughter, Madison, started her own business called “Home and Garden Art by Madison”.  She creates and paints signs like the photo below and these will be available this weekend.  Help us support Madison and her new business by purchasing one of her creations.

I want to approach these next plants, especially the price with “Extreme Caution”!  What I mean is, I’m getting vibes that some people are thinking of calling the guys in white coats to come and get me and this might put them over the edge!  So PLEASE help me get these out of here before they see this!

Here we go: A lot of people don’t think about their winter landscape now and how they can get color into that season and still have a good looking summer plant.  The answer is Red Twig and Yellow Twig Dogwoods.  We have several kinds.  We have one that gets dark red branches in the winter and has variegated leaves in the summer.  Showy Yellow Twig Dogwoods have brilliant yellow branches in winter making a great combo with a Red Twig Dogwood.  I have some in my landscape and I’m putting some of those things, ah solar lights under them to illuminate the colors at night in winter time.  I’ve seen it and it is beautiful!  All of these dogwoods bloom in the springtime and they are just starting now!  Fact is I went a little crazy growing these so we have a good supply and SPECIAL PRICING FO $4.97 EACH ONLY FOR THIS WEEK.

Another “white coat” special is our Cotoneaster Queen of Carpets, a great groundcover that grows less than 10” tall at the ridiculous price of 2 for $5.97

Also I have a good supply of Kumson Forsythia for the SPECIAL LOW PRICE OF $4.97 EACH. It has variegated foliage and beautiful yellow flowers in early spring.

I hope those that think I’m a little crazy really don’t see this either. We have Aronia Chokeberry “Viking” that has beautiful green shiny foliage and white flowers in Spring and then leaves turn red in Fall and then those Blackberries that are full of antioxidants ripen and are ready to pick!  Your probably way ahead of me but yes they are only $4.97 each.

I do have some plants that are large in size, or in larger pots and are more costly to grow. For example, larger Old Fashioned Lilacs at $9.97 each.  A steal at that price.

Do you have a neighbor that is driving you crazy, we have Emerald Green Arborvitae that will give you the privacy you deserve marked down from $14.97 to $12.97 each. 15 or more are $11.97 each.  Plant these 3’ to 4’ apart and it won’t be long until no neighbor problems.  Remember – out of sight, out of mind!

 It’s really crazy to sell these plants this cheap but I still have way too many and I desperately need the space. I’m so desperate my family even taught me how to use that square thingy on my phone so I could take credit cards. Took a while but I got the hang of it!

This is just a partial list of what you can purchase for just $5.97 each. We have Spirea Gold Flame, Neon Flash, and Little Princess for starters. The Little Princess is a compact flowering shrub that grows into a neat ball shape. In June it gets small light pink flowers that look magnificent on the green foliage. I must be crazy selling so many shrubs and perennials at $5.97 each. Many people including my wife, friends and relatives say the same thing, your crazy! Many people who read my ad on Face Book last week and came to the sale said when they read the ad they thought that it was either to good to be true or it was the best deal they had seen on shrubs and perennials so they came. I didn’t have to ask them what they thought after they pulled carts around the display beds and came to the check out tent with a wagon full of plants, some with as many as three full wagons!

This is a partial list of what you can get for $5.97 each. We have four kinds of Weigela including Red Prince, Java Red, Tango, and Minuet, the dwarf of the bunch. They have bell shaped flowers and Humming Birds love them. You need to come to this week’s sale because many of these are in full bloom and are worth the trip to see!

 

I have five different kinds of Spirea including Gold Flame, Lemon Princess, Neon Flash, Gold Mound, and Little Princess and a couple of others. Little Princess is one of my favorites because of its compact size and cute little blooms. They are great for adding color without taking a major amount of area in your landscape.

Just thinking out loud and it just crossed my mind (what little I have left), that we have Honeysuckle Butterfly, a great yellow flowering shrub that attracts bees and butter flies and is a native.

We have Pee Gee Hydrangea with there showy cone shaped blooms and Pee Wee Hydrangea with there oak shaped leaves and white turning toward pink blooms both add beauty to any landscape. We have a very limited supply so hurry on over and yup, only $5.97 each.

Oh yes, we have that blooming machine Potentilla Gold Drop that keeps on giving all summer long. Every landscape needs these and we have Potentilla Abbottswood with its great white blooms. I really must be out of my mind selling these for only $5.97.

Oh boy, it’s getting late, my mind is wondering, I’ve got to focus, and oh yes we have a very limited supply of Burkwoodii Viburnum and the fragrance rivals any fragrant perfume I’ve ever smelled. I must be crazy selling so many plants at $5.97 each and many people who come to these annual events tell me the same thing! My aged mother couldn’t remember my name the last years of her life but she always could remember to call me the crazy one and now I think she may have been right! Ah, a mothers wisdom!

This is a partial list of what you can get for $5.97 each. Plants like Red Prince Weigela, Java Red Weigela, Minuet Weigela and a few more I can’t think of now. The humming birds are attracted to Weigela especially the Red Prince with its red, bell shaped flower.

Royal Purple, and a bunch more of these for only $5.97 each. How crazy is that? Trust me it is white coat crazy. If I’m not here when you get here, you’ll know they threw me in the asylum for selling these so cheap!!!

Listen, you might want to print this out, grab a red or blue pen and start circling the things you want. Remember they are easy to plant since we use smaller pots.

We have some Aronia Chokeberry Viking and Elderberry Sambuscus for those who like their berries and want it as a part of their landscape.

Listen this is just part of a huge, huge list of plants that I’m selling for $5.97 each. I know it is crazy but it is my thing. I’m the guy who sells thousands and thousands of plants for only $5.97 each.

Okay, I do have some plants that are larger and do sell for slightly more but are at or near wholesale prices. Trust me, they are a fantastic deal. Okay here are a few of what I’m talking about. If you have a neighbor that is driving you crazy, we have Emerald Green Arborvitae that will give you the privacy you deserve. We have Flowering Cherry Trees, Weeping Cherry Trees, Golden Curl Willows, lots of different kinds of Azaleas and Rhododendrons. Yes, we have White Blooming Dogwoods, Pink Blooming Dogwoods, Red Blooming Dogwoods, and much, much more.

What am I thinking, selling thousands of shrubs and perennials at $5.97 each and thousand’s more at wholesale pricing or less? I really do need help.

Seriously, I really enjoy working with plants and we do have thousands upon thousands of plants. We will be open Thursday and Friday April 20 & 21 8a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday April 22^nd. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Get here early cause stuff sells fast!  Turn into the drive way and park on the grass facing the yellow emergency tape.
