We’ve been busier than one armed paper hangers. Between potting, pruning, and moving plants around it’s really been a busy time. Isn’t it always wonderful when we get to spring and see those first blooms. On Tuesday I had that experience. I went to our Rhododendron Farm and low and behold the Red Quest Small leaf Rhododendron were breaking in red colored blooms. Right next to them were the Planeview Apple Blossom’s with there white/pinkish tint flower. I am excited. Walked a little farther down the path and the P.J.M Elites are blooming with the lavender/pink flower pretty enough to take my breath away. I took some pictures and brought them home to show Kathy and she was just as excited as me. She said why not have open this Saturday (4-13-19) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for those who may want to have one or even 10 of these in their landscape or even set some on the patio until they are finished blooming and then plant them? Normally we get $19.97 each for them. This Saturday only they will be $16.97 ea. They are in 3 gal. containers. We also have Prunus Kojo-no-Mai Dwarf Cherry in 1 gal containers for $9.97 ea. and with the beautiful pale pink blooms fading to white blush flowers on twisted limbs make this a real early season winner. We also have some in 3 gal containers for $15.97 while they last. Finally, for those who want an evergreen privacy hedge we have Emerald Green Arborvitae in 3 gal. container’s and they are about 3’ tall for only $14.97 each. This is a great time to plant any of these plants we have available now since the soft ground makes easy digging and the outside temperatures are very comfortable. We will only be open from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. due to a previous commitment we have so please, set your GPS and come to Longview Nursery, 557 Hackman Road, Lititz, Pa. 17543 and scoop up any or all of the above bargains while they last because at 2 p.m. we must close to make our appointment.
