NOW IS THE TIME!!!!!!

“NOW” IS THE TIME TO PLANT SHRUBS, PERENNIALS AND TREES!

WE HAVE OVER  1,787 SHRUBS & PERENNIALS TO CHOOSE FROM AT $5.97 EACH!

The reason I say “Now”  is you can plant things “Now” that will bloom this coming spring. Shrubs like Weigela’s, Spireas, Iteas, Honeysuckle, Potentilla, Mock Orange, Coralbells, and a whole lot more!

Second, it does not take near as much watering to get your plants growing and extending there roots and the ground is softer now to plant and of course not nearly as hot as in the spring on most days to do your planting.

Heh, we have about 10 different kinds of Rhododendrons in 3 gal. and 5 gal. pots for only $11.97 Each. Oh yes Curly Willows for only $11.97 and we have Red, Pink, and White Dogwoods at or near wholesale pricing. I could say a whole lot more but the best thing to do is come on over. Set that GPS for 557 Hackman Rd., Lititz, Pa. 17543.

We are here Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come on over and scoop up the bargains now. Time is running out!

While They Last!

Hey Now, Print This Out On That Printer Over There and Take a Green, Red, or Black Pen and Circle What You Want!

These Plants are beautiful and selling them for only $5.97 is a bit crazy but that is what we do. Our Mission is to make plants affordable for everyone so you can enjoy a beautiful Landscape! I better get right into the list cause you aren’t here to waste time. Hopefully I won’t get any crazier and make better deals for you. Sometimes I become inspired and get carried away and my wife kind of looks at me with that look that says here we go again! So here we go! We have Gold Flame, Gold Mound, Lemon Princess, Little Princess, and Anthony Water Spirea for only $5.97 each.  We have Bridal Wreath Spirea that make wonderful hedges with brilliant white blooms in the spring. If you ever drive past a property with a long brilliantly white flowered hedge in the spring, it more than likely is Bridal Wreath. All of these make beautiful flowers and foliage and are deer resilient. Deer may eat a deer resilient plant but a deer resilient plant, even if eaten down to the ground, will bounce back.  Come on over and ask me about more deer resilient plants and I’m sure I’ll remember some others.

We have Flowering Weigela’s like Java Red, a real blooming machine in late spring into early summer. We also have Red Prince, my wife’s favorite with its darker green foliage and bright red bell shaped flowers. The Variegated Weigela is another favorite with its pink and white bloom. All of these are easily kept to less than 36″ by trimming once a year. The Hummingbirds love the Bell Shaped Flower on the Weigela. We have Red Twig Dogwood, Yellow Twig Dogwood, and Variegated Dogwood to add color to your winter Landscape. They have white blooming flowers in the spring and then in fall the bark on these turn brilliantly colored! If  you don’t have one of these, get them for your Landscape now! Ninebark Nugget and Ninebark Royalty are a must! The yellow foliage of the Nugget and the Maroon Burgundy color of the Royalty and the white blooms make it a necessity to have at least one pair of these in your Landscape. We had a bumper crop of the Ninebark so we are rolling back the price of these to $4.97 each while they last. Yup, that was the price of our plants two years ago!!! I’m really crazy and I hope my family ignores my craziness and marks it up to old age. Oh yes, we have Viburnums like Burkwoodii, Arrowwood, and Summer Snowflake and only $5.97 each! I can smell the fragrant Viburnum just typing here. When the Burkwoodii is in bloom I stand and inhale deeply for a long time enjoying the fragrance. ————– Come back Tom-just thinking of that smell had me so relaxed I almost forgot I’ve got to list more plants.

Just a little haircut in late spring gives you a very thick and beautiful bloom again! Hey now butterfly lovers, you need a Honeysuckle Butterfly (Native) with its yellow blooms that have the butterflies around it all day long. It is a great shrub that is very hardy. Thursday, May 5, 2016      8 AM to 6 PM

Friday, May 6, 2016      8 AM to 6 PM

Saturday, May 7, 2016      8 AM to 4 PM

1,777 PLANTS FOR ONLY $5.97 EA.

Spring is here and it’s time to get busy outside the confines of our homes. I’ve already had emails from those who are building new homes and are ready to do their landscaping and I’ve had a lot of emails from people wanting to change some plants in their landscape and some who want to do a complete makeover. Many people excited to get out and get playing in the dirt and it’s only several weeks ago we had snow on the ground!

Every week we have some new plants that are finally leafed out and look great that we move from our growing area to our sales area. Since we grow our plants right here in Lancaster County they are well acclimated to our weather. This is a real plus to you since many plants that come from the south to PA to be sold here just don’t make it because of the harsher weather we have. Around here we do not “baby” our plants. I tell people if they live here they will thrive in your Landscape. To help we have two other important things for you. One is a guide for those who purchase Rhododendrons, Azaleas, or Mountain Laurel. This is a super care guide sheet that will help you grow these successfully in your landscape. We also have our Planting Guide Sheet for shrubs and trees. If you don’t see them just ask for one. Now on to the short list of plants we have available. We have found out our minds are very young but our bodies won’t always co-operate as we would like so sometimes the priority is making beautiful plants for our customers rather than taking or even having the time to list them all. I’ll give you an example from just today. I discovered we have beautiful Birch Trees to add to the sales area. Didn’t even know we had them in the grow area and we even have a few other new ones this week. So here we go with a partial list.

Weigela, Java Red

We have Flowering Weigela’s like Java Red, a real blooming machine in late spring into early summer and a perfect Mothers Day Gift that keeps on giving. We also have Red Prince, my wife’s favorite and Variegated with its pink and white bloom. These are easily kept to less than 36″ by trimming once a year. We have Red Twig Dogwood, Yellow Twig Dogwood, and Variegated Dogwood to add color to your winter Landscape. Then we have Nugget Ninebark and Royalty Ninebark. You will love color of the Ninebark foliage! Oh yes, we have Viburnums Burkwoodii, Arrowwood, and Summer Snowflake. I can smell the fragrant Viburnum just typing it here. Try one, you’ll love it.

We have many other shrubs like Burning Bush, Potentilla Gold Drop, Potentilla Abbottswood, Honeysuckle Butterfly, Mock Orange, Hypericum Gemo, Hypericum Sunburst, Forsythia, Inkberry Holly, Itea, Butterfly Bush, Dierville Copper, and help, everything is running together in my mind. Friday, April 29, 2016      8 AM to 6 PM

Saturday, April 30, 2016      8 AM to 4 PM

3,397 PLANTS FOR ONLY $5.97 EA.

Spring is here and it’s time to get busy outside the confines of our homes. I’ve already had emails from those who are building new homes and are ready to do their landscaping and I’ve had a lot of emails from people wanting to change some plants in their landscape and some who want to do a complete makeover. Many people excited to get out and get playing in the dirt and only two weeks ago we had snow on the ground!

We had nice moderating temperatures in March and we thought we’ll have some nice April weather. Wrong again! Lots of very cold nights affecting the growth rates of many plants. Lots of mild days creating buds on plants followed by 21-25 degree nights does not make for fun in the plant business. But here we are with temperatures in the 60’s and nights in the 40 degree range helping to bring on spring. We have a large selection of home grown plants this year that will upgrade your landscape.

Every week we have some new plants that are finally leafed out and look great that we move from our growing area to our sales area. Since we grow our plants right here in Lancaster County they are well acclimated to our weather. This is a real plus to you since many plants that come from the south to Pa. to be sold here just don’t make it because of the harsher weather we have.

One other important thing, we have Two Planting Guide Sheets available for you. If you purchase Rhododendrons, Azaleas, or Mountain Laurel we have a super Planting and care guide sheet that will help you grow these successfully in your landscape.

We have Flowering Weigela’s like Red Prince which is my wife’s favorite, Minuets my personal favorite, Java Red, and Variegated. If you are looking for something different we have Scotch Brooms which you do not see in many landscapes. Try one, you’ll love it.

We have many other shrubs like Old Fashion Lilac (only a few left), Miss Kim Lilac, Burning Bush, Potentilla Gold Drop, Potentilla Abbottswood, Honeysuckle Butterfly, Mock Orange, Euonymus, Hypericum Gemo, Hypericum Sunburst, Forsythia, Inkberry Holly, Itea, Butterfly Bush, Dierville Copper, and help, everything is running together in my mind.  4,667 PLANTS FOR ONLY $5.97 EA.

Spring is here and it’s time to get busy outside the confines of our homes. I’ve already had emails from those who are building new homes and are ready to do their landscaping and I’ve had a lot of emails from people wanting to change some plants in their landscape and some who want to do a complete makeover. Many people excited to get out and get playing in the dirt and only a week ago snow on the ground!

We’ve had some extreme weather variations this winter and I promised a picture of what happens when you have to much (32″) of wet snow on a hoop houses designed to protect your plants. We rented 3 hoop houses on a neighbors property to place plants in over the winter mainly to protect them from winters dry, freezing cold winds. When the wet snow came one of the hoop house collapsed.    004_4

The next day we knew we had to clean the snow off of the other two or we would have two more problems. We hiked from the plowed road to the hoop houses in waist deep snow and shoveled around both hoop houses and pulled the snow off of them. What a job! We figured our minds are a whole lot younger than our bodies!!!!!

We had nice moderating temperatures in March and we thought we’ll have some nice April weather. Wrong again! Lots of very cold nights affecting the growth rates of many plants.
