It’s really crazy to sell these plants this cheap but I still have way too many and I desperately need the space. I’m so desperate my family even taught me how to use that square thingy on my phone so I could take credit cards. Took a while but I got the hang of it!
This is just a partial list of what you can purchase for just $5.97 each. We have Spirea Gold Flame, Neon Flash, and Little Princess for starters. The Little Princess is a compact flowering shrub that grows into a neat ball shape. In June it gets small light pink flowers that look magnificent on the green foliage. If you’re looking for a great looking plant spring through fall Little Princess is it!
Listen. I have completely lost my mind and I have my Amish helpers potting even more plants for fall and next year and I have more to pot than I can possibly fit into this place. I’m serious, I have to move a lot more plants! If you miss this sale, you are truly missing out.
We have Java Red Weigela and the Variegated Weigela that has a beautiful pink and white flower combination adding spring beauty and summer and fall beauty with its variegated foliage.
Listen. You might want to print this out, grab a red or green pen and start circling the plants you want.
Oh, I almost forgot. We have the Honeysuckle ‘Butterfly’ that is a great native shrub and has bright yellow flowers that attract Humming Birds, Butter Flies, and Bees. We also have some Variegated Butter Fly Shrubs available as well.
Come on brain think, think, yes we have Snowflake Viburnum that bloom all summer long. With its small white flowers it reminds me of snowflakes and helps me stay cool on those hot summer days when I see those blooms.
Let’s see, oh come on brain don’t fail me now. Oh yes we have Ninebark Nugget, and its cousin the Royal Ninebark. The foliage alone is worth it in summer and fall. The small white flowers are icing on the cake.
Itea Henry Garnet is a fantastic late summer blooming shrub as well as Clethra with both available in limited quantity.
Holy Cow the brain really kicked in! We have Callacarpa and one of the two kinds is variegated. Look these up on the internet, they are beautiful. For beauty and fragrance we have Mock Orange and Albelia. You’ll know what I mean when you walk up to them here at Longview Nursery.
We also have a limited supply of Lilacs, Aronia Chokeberry Viking, and oh yea, we have Red Bud’s for only $5.97 each. I really am crazy.
Look, a lot of people don’t think about their winter landscape and how they can get color into that season and still have a good looking summer plant. The answer is Red Twig and Yellow Twig Dogwood. We have several kinds. We have one that gets dark red branches in the winter and has variegated leaves in the summer. We have the Red Twig Cardinal that has a light color red in winter and nice green leaves in summer. All of these dogwoods bloom in the springtime and they are just starting now. These are beautiful shrubs and worth the trip at only $5.97 each.
One of the most popular ground covers we sell is the Blue Rug Juniper. They are great looking plants and you can’t find anything better to cover a bank or your shrub beds!

Please, what I’m about to tell you cannot be told to certain people who think I’m a little unbalanced. They might call the guys in the white coats to come for me. I’m selling Cotoneaster Queen of Carpets, a great ground cover that that gets less than 10” tall at the ridiculous price of 3 for $5.97. What a steal! I’m selling Bridal Wreath/Bridal Veil at the low price of 2 for $5.97!! Yes I over produced on these and want to lower inventory. My loss your gain!!!
I do have some plants that are in large in size, or in larger pots and or more costly to grow. For example I have some larger Old Fashion Lilacs at $9.97 each and some Hydrangea at $7.97 each, along with many others.
Do you have a neighbor that is driving you crazy, we have Emerald Green Arborvitae that will give you the privacy you deserve at only $12.97 each. What a steal and getting peace of mind at the same time. Plant these 3’ to 4’ apart and it won’t be long until no neighbor problem. Remember, out of sight, out of mind.
We also have White Flowering Cherry Trees, Golden Curl Willow, lots of Azaleas and some that bloom later in the spring and early summer. Seriously, I really enjoy working with plants and we do have thousands of plants. We will be open Thursday and Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine. We can reuse the pots that we sell plants to you in. I hate to see the pots go to recycle or worse, landfills. They can be used many times over. You can return them to us anytime here on Hackman Road or if you live in the Marietta/Mount Joy/ Elizabethtown area, you can drop them at my daughter in law’s shop called For The Love Of Dog at 17 West Market Street, Suite D, Marietta, Pa. 17547. You can look it up on Face Book for the hours Tammy is their. Take your dog with you and check it out!
