SHORT NOTICE FALL PLANT SALE!!

2,793 Perennials and Shrubs Must Be Sold Starting At $8.97 Each!

Sale Date is This Saturday, August 24, 2024, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

If you are receiving this it is because you are on our email list and you have purchased from us in the past at our nursery or registered to receive it or follow us on Facebook. Because many of you have been loyal customers for many years, we thought it would be appropriate to give you first dibs on our Fall Selection.

Everyone is always asking me “when is the best time to plant” and I believe the best time is when you have time and have time to water your plants. I prefer Fall for several reasons. First it is usually cooler for the plants and me. It normally takes less water than it does in June and July when we experience those 90 degree temperatures, and even though the air temperature is getting cooler, underneath the ground it is warm and cozy and those roots are energized and growing giving your plants a great start! I include all the plants we sell in that category!

Our Perennials and Shrubs range in price from $7.97 to $19.97 each depending on kind, cost to grow, etc. You can check on our website some of the earlier plant sales we had this year and get an idea of what we have. We do have additional kinds of both perennials and shrubs for you to choose from that were not ready for spring but ready for fall planting.

Come and check out our prices and quality and I’m sure you will want to take some home with you!

For you who have a neighbor who does not mow on a timely basis, clean up their junk, or just can’t figure out where the property line is or maybe you need a good wind-break we have Emerald Green Arborvitae and Green Giant Arborvitae and other Arborvitae that can do the job.

We have Green Giant Arborvitae about 2’ tall in #1 pots for $11.97 each, 4’ tall in #3 pots for $29.97 each. Emerald Green Arborvitae 16”-24”’ tall in #1 pots for $9.97 each, 32” + in #3 pots for $19.97 each and 36”-40” tall in #3 pots for $24.97 each. We also have a no name Arborvitae that is in #1 pots and 16”-18” tall for $7.97 each. All of these are very healthy and will do a great job for you. Come and see and we can discuss what is best for your application.

We have Ornamental Trees priced from $11.97 to $69.97. To name a few Eastern Redbuds, Ruby Falls Weeping Redbud, Sparkling wine Redbuds, Hearts Of Gold Redbuds, and more. Dogwoods like Cherokee Princess, Pumpkin Patch, Variegated Stellar Pink, Dogwood Pagoda and a few more I can’t think of now. Curly Willow Trees, Red Haven and Nanking Cherry, and more I haven’t the time to list.

To sum this up we have many Native Plants in our selection and the bench cards are marked with Native for those that are considered a Native Plant. We also have a great selection of Hydrangea to choose from as well.

We accept Cash, Credit & Debit Cards, and Checks for payment. Yes, we still have that little white thingy called square that we use to process cards and it even processes those Apple Pay Watches and I suppose other things I still haven’t heard about. Things sure have changed in our lifetime!

Anyway, get here early cause I can be worn out later in the day at my age which means I might not be as alert as I am before lunch. Use your car, SUV, or pick-up truck and set the GPS Thingy for Longview Nursery, 557 Hackman Road, Lititz, Pa. 17543 and scoop up the bargains while they last cause when they are gone, they are gone!

Thank You For Your Business,

Tom and Kathy
