OPENING 2024 HUGE PLANT SALE!!

4,297 Shrubs, Perennials, And Trees Must Be Sold Starting at $8.97!

Thursday & Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

(These are the only days of the week we are open for business, and we will do this every week until mid-June.)

We accept Credit Cards, cash, and checks.

We’ve been doing this for years and with some of the health challenges we faced recently with Kathy’s Open-Heart Surgery made us realize we need to shorten the number of days we have open each week. She is recovering well but I don’t think you will see her working at our sales this spring.

We have all kinds of flowering shrubs, evergreens, ornamental trees, as well as a sea of perennials!

We have Allium, Astilbe, Creeping Phlox in full bloom, Dianthus, Coral Bells, Taller Phlox, 5 kinds of Blueberries, Weigelas, Hosta, 6 Kinds of Rhododendron, at least 6 kinds of Azalea and they are in bloom, Echinacea, Coreopsis, Lilacs many in bloom and more just about ready to bloom, Spirea, Red Raspberries, Black Raspberries, Black Berries,  Ninebark, Fothergilla, 3 kinds of Butterfly Bush, Sky Pencil Holly, 2 kinds of Aronia Chokeberry, Salix Hakuro Nishiki, Abelia, Boxwood, Red and Yellow Twig Dogwood, Cameo Quince, Honey Suckle Butterfly, Itea Henrys Garnet, Mock Orange, and much more.

Trees priced from $29.97 to $69.97. Redbuds like Eastern Redbuds, Forest Pansy Redbuds, Rising Sun Redbuds, Ruby Falls Weeping Redbud, and more I can’t think of now. Dogwood Trees like Stellar Pink, Cherokee Brave, Cherokee Princess, and lots more dogwoods, 3 kinds of weeping ornamental cherry trees including one pink blooming and many other trees as well. Oh yes, I should mention we have Red Haven and Contender Peach Trees as well and a few apple trees also. We have many plants and trees that are Natives, and our bench cards are marked Native when it applies.

Have a neighbor who never cleans up their junk or never mows their yard or maybe just can’t figure where the property line is? Solve that with a living border fence of Emerald Green Arborvitae or Green Giant Arborvitae or Thuja Arborvitae. Or maybe you need a wind break to help save on heat bills. You can get different sizes priced from $7.97 to $29.97.

We have an amazing inventory and will be adding more perennials every week into June. Remember, when a plant is gone, it is gone!

I could go on and on with other plants we have for this sale as well as our future weeks, but my time is limited since I’m being nurse, chef, laundry man, etc. for Kathy the love of my life. I have very little time to answer texts, emails or even return calls, so if I don’t, please don’t take it personally, just come on over on sales days and I’m sure you will find something you need and if you don’t you just might meet and old friend here. It happens a lot.

Grab momma, sisters, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and get in your car, SUV, or Pick-Up Truck and set that GPS Thingy for Longview Nursery, 557 Hackman Road, Lititz, Pa. 17543 and scoop up the bargains and save lots of money on these plants because when they are gone, they are gone!

HUGE PLANT SALE FRIDAY & SATURDAY

Over 3,129 Shrubs, Perennials and Trees Starting As Low As $8.97 Each!

Friday September 29th – 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Saturday September 30th –  10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

We need to reduce our inventory to make room for newly potted plants to be grown for next year. Many of the best gardeners I know do all their planting of shrubs, perennials, and trees in the fall. When I asked them why the simple answer was and is the plants are working toward winter dormancy and they grow more roots instead of top growth before winter getting them set for a spectacular growth and bloom next year. Of course, they take less watering with fall versus spring, cooler weather to work outside in fall, and softer ground to dig in and of course less weeds to deal with. Sounds like a winner to me.

ATTENTION: WIFE/BOOKEEPER DISCOUNT ALERT!

My Bookeeper/Wife said to me, Honey, I would suggest you list a couple of plants at super special prices for all those people who are smart enough to plant in the fall! I wasn’t born yesterday so I knew by interpreting what she said she was not just suggesting it, she wanted it done. For the few men who read these ads I write, Happy Wife, Happy Life! I like happy so here goes: My favorite Berry bush, Triple Crown Blackberry normally $8.97 now only $6.97 each, Gaillardia Mesa Peach (Native) regularly $8.97 only $6.97 each, Clethra Sweetshrub Hummingbird Dwarf (White Blooming) regular $9.97 only $7.97 each and Clethra Ruby Spice (Native and Pinkish Bloom) Regular $9.97 now only $7.97 each and this is only as long as we have inventory available! Some of you remember when she and other relatives thought I was selling plants at low prices and maybe I was a little on the crazy side. Now she has “suggested” and I dropped some prices even more than my regular low prices. Could it be whatever I have has affected her? Uh Oh, she just told me to be sure when you make a purchase to register for a free Longview Nursery T-Shirt. She is giving away a bunch of them again, so I know whatever I have has affected her!
